Over winter break, I was fortunate to get to spend Christmas in New York, which was honestly such a fun way to end the year. The city felt alive everywhere we went, even with the freezing cold weather. No snow, unfortunately, but still very much coat weather.

One of my favorite parts was doing a food tour through Chinatown and Little Italy. We tried so many local spots and little cafes that I definitely wouldn’t have found on my own. I'm a big believer that everything tastes better when you’re walking around all day in the cold. I also got to see Rockefeller Center and its grand Christmas tree.

We spent some time shopping around Canal Street, which was chaotic in the best way. After that, we walked through Central Park, and even without snow, it was really peaceful. The trees, the quiet paths, and the cold air made it feel like a reset in the middle of the city.

One of the highlights was seeing MJ: The Musical. It was amazing. The performances, the music, the energy on stage; everything lived up to the hype! Definitely one of the best shows I’ve seen.

From eating at amazing restaurants to sitting in small cafes, every meal felt memorable in some way. Even without snow, New York during Christmas has its own kind of magic, and I’m so glad I got to experience it.

I'd love to know where you went for Christmas, if you traveled!!
