A Few College Decisions!

The past couple of weeks have been pretty surreal. College decisions are finally starting to come out, and it’s starting to feel real that the next chapter of my life is right around the corner.

So far, I’ve been accepted to UPitt, UC Merced, Villanova, and Occidental. Just a few days ago I also got into UC Riverside and UC Santa Cruz, and yesterday I opened my portal (super late at night, too) and saw that I got into UDub! Seeing those acceptances pop up has honestly been such a great feeling after spending so many months working on applications and essays. And I love the confetti; to me, it's super affirming and warm.

Another exciting part is that I received scholarships from both Villanova and Occidental, which I’m really grateful for. It makes the whole process feel even more rewarding knowing that the work paid off in different ways.

At the same time, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. There are still so many decisions left to come, and I know the next few weeks will probably be a mix of excitement and anticipation. Right now, I’m just trying to appreciate the moment and be thankful for the opportunities that are already on the table.

More updates soon, but for now I’m feeling excited and a little anxious to see what the rest of decision season has in store for me.
