The Tap Initiative had one of its most productive trips this August! From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., we spent the day clearing out a massive section as part of our ongoing environmental efforts. It was hard work, but the sense of accomplishment ultimately made it all worth it.
We started the morning by organizing into teams and tackling different parts of the area that needed clearing. There was a lot to do, and the sun was shining, but the energy was high. Everyone was in good spirits, chatting and working together, making time fly by.
We had made serious progress by lunchtime, so we took a well-deserved break and enjoyed some pizza together. It was a nice chance to sit down, relax, and refuel for the rest of the day. There’s something about working hard that makes pizza taste even better!
After lunch, we pushed through the last couple of hours, finishing the section we had set out to clear. By 3 p.m., we were tired but proud of our accomplishments. It was a great reminder of how much can be done when people come together for a common cause.

Looking forward to our next outing with the Tap Initiative!
